Silly things interest me. I read blogs and people are always mentioning the names of stores that I have never heard of. So leave a comment and tell me where YOU get your groceries. I go to Walmart, Publix, Food Lion, and Kroger - occasionally Aldi's.
I am so bad at mornings. I was able to get in bed a little before 11:30 last night. That's great for me! Lol Then I slept soundly until 6:47 am. I got up to use the restroom and felt so awake and wonderful! I started to just stay up and start my day. But then I decided everyone was asleep and laying down again until my alarm went off at 7:05 am would be fine. WRONG. I kept hitting snooze and rolled out at 7:30. Phooey!
I did, however, get up and walk. Yeehaw. I did the same video as yesterday, 1 mile.
Breakfast was a Lean Pocket and 2 Cuties.
Lunch today was chicken salad made with 3 oz of Tyson canned chicken, 14 grams of RF mayo, 10 grams dried cranberries, and a hard boiled egg on an Arnold sandwich thin. I also had some strawberries, a WW string cheese, and 28 grams of Baked Lays. We were supposed to have celery, but much to my husband and kids'
dismay delight, it was no good. I bought the precut kind and it looked like it had fur growing on the ends!!! Lol
Since I didn't have celery, I dug around in the freezer and found a box of Green Giant Brussels sprouts in a butter sauce. I had 1/2 cup.
Before leaving for the kids' music lessons, I had a South Beach Diet protein bar.
Supper tonight was 4 oz of pork roast topped with 14 grams BBQ sauce, one small red potato, some carrots and onions, green beans cooked in olive oil, and 1/4 cup 2% milk mac and cheese.
Then I made a stupid decision. I didn't have a single thought of sweets on my mind. The husband said he had to run to Dollar General to get some batteries. In my mind, Dollar General equals dessert. This is because it is 2 minutes from our house and I always send hubby there when I have some sort of irrational craving. :( He made the mistake of asking if I needed anything, and I said yes. I ended up having 4 Palmar chocolate mints.
Can you BELIEVE the points value on those puppies! I seriously love these. For some reason, I associate them with Mexican food. Lol Most Mexican restaurants I've ever been to have these in the little candy jars by the cash register. But only 4 for 6 points+? OMW.
While blogging, I had a banana.
In a nutshell: I wish I hadn't had the mints after having the SBD bar. I would've felt better about having one or the other, but not both. I also admit I drank TWO Diet Dr. Peppers today. But today wasn't all bad. I made some good choices and enjoyed some good food. I went 7 points+ over my daily points today. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna rest tomorrow and then do my walk video again on Thursday. It is already 11:30 and I still have radishes to cut! ha! Goodnight everyone.
